Hunting Hills Homeowners Association Neighborhood Watch

The Hunting Hills Neighborhood Watch ( NW ) program is designed to keep residents informed of safety and security issues such as break-ins, car theft, property damage or vandalism. NW works closely with the Roanoke County Crime Prevention Coordinator, Officer Forehand. NW does not send notices of yard sales, lost pets, business ads, or anything other than alerts about crime or safety matters.

NW has 31 Block Captains covering Hunting Hills, The Village, Chateau Mont, Hunting Hills Place, and most recently Quail Valley. The Block Captains and their contact information are provided in the list below. If you are a resident and wish to be included on the NW emails, contact the Block Captain for your street or area.

THIS IS HOW THE PROGRAM WORKS

If there are reports of safety or security problems in our community, all Block Captains will be emailed and asked to forward the information to the residents on their street. If homeowners have an active security problem, they should immediately call 911 to report. Once the police have been notified, the homeowner should let their Block Captain know to alert the neighbors on their street. The Block Captain will then notify the head of NW, currently Sally Lemmer, huntinghillswatch@gmail.com If the problem warrants a community-wide alert, the head of NW will then email all Block Captains to forward the information to all residents.
